Lo Studio Spagna è stato chiamato a progettare una ristrutturazione globale di uno stabile sito nella corte interna di un palazzo vincolato, nella centrale via Ariosto a Milano.
L’edificio è stato interamente svuotato, mantenendo solo le facciate esterne e le volte in mattone pieno situate al piano interrato.
La richiesta era suddividere lo stabile diverse unità con un’anima diversa, che rimandassero alla storia del palazzo.
Il piano terra e il piano interrato sono stati pensati ricreando l’atmosfera industriale dei laboratori milanesi in quanto tali piani sono stati sede operativa per anni di un’azienda del settore metallurgico.
I piani superiori richiamano uno stile classico dei primi del ‘900, anno di edificazione dello stabile.
